Our Programs

Morning Coffee Club

Come sit and enjoy a hot cup of good coffee Monday thru Friday with your friends and neighbors.  Good time to fellowship.  We won't promise that there might be some tall tales told too.  Local  newspapers (Commwealth Journal, Interior Journal and Mount Vernon Signal) are available for your reading enjoyment as well as a big screen TV to catch up on the daily news and events.  Who knows there might be a Rook Game, Checkers Game, Etc going on too.  We meet in the NEW Gathering Room directly across from the Front Entrance.

Senior Day Luncheon

Each month our seniors meet on the 1st Monday of the month at 12:00 Noon for a Potluck Luncheon.  This is a time of fellowship and a time to hear informative speakers.

Senior Steppers

Monday thru Friday the seniors meet at the Community Center at 8:00 AM and walk.  They use the paved walking tract behind the Community Center and on rainy days they walk the hallways of the Community Center.  (Four times around the walking track equals a mile.  Nine round trips up and down the hallway equals a mile.)

NOTE:  The Paved Walking Track is OPEN 24 hours/7 days a week.  Hallway is OPEN Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM till 6:00 PM.

Puzzling Wonders

Our seniors love to work puzzles.  The harder the puzzle is to work, the better.

Evening Rook

Come join in for Evening Rook on Thursdays at 6:00 PM in the South End Community Room at Woodstock Community Center.  Bring a friend or come by yourself.  It's FREE and open to everyone.

Senior Cornhole

Come join in for Senior Cornhole on Mondays at 1:00 PM in the Gym at Woodstock Community Center.  Bring a friend or come by yourself.  It's FREE and open to all seniors.

Sewing Club

Those individuals come at 12:00 Noon on Tuesdays and enjoy the fellowship and making new things by learning how to sew and sharing techniques in sewing. They make an annual quilt and then sell tickets on it for a raffle drawing at the Fall Festival.
